She was born in Boston, and raised North of Boston.
Having studied at Massachusetts College of Art, The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Richmond University, London, and graduated
with a B.F.A. from Green Mountain College in Vermont.
She has received grants from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, and Vermont Studio Center, where she has twice completed residencies.
Additional studies at The Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown and
The Provincetown Art Association and Museum School.
Amy's work is inspired by time living and working on Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard for over 30 years.
Her favorite subjects to paint include, portraits, fish, birds, and landscapes.
